Singer Peabo Bryson, Grammy winner for the songs "A Whole New World", from the film "Aladdin", and "Beauty and the Beast", from "Beauty and the Beast", died this Tuesday (2) at the age of 75.
Bryson suffered a stroke last Sunday, May 31, and was hospitalized in Marietta, a city in the state of Georgia, in the USA.
He has almost 20 albums to his credit and became known for his work in Disney films, performing iconic duets.

In 1993, he won the Grammy in the category of best pop vocal performance by a duo or group with "Beauty and the Beast", a song from the film "Beauty and the Beast", recorded in partnership with Céline Dion.
The following year, he won the same category with "A Whole New World", the theme from "Aladdin", this time in partnership with Regina Belle.
The two songs are on the soundtrack of the films as re-recordings.
In the case of "Beauty and the Beast", the original version was recorded by Angela Lansbury. The song "A Whole New World" is first performed by actors Brad Kane and Lea Salonga.
