Journalist Paulo Figueredo criticized former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) and said that women "vote badly" on his podcast "Paulo Figueredo Show" last Thursday (25).

The almost 30-minute video by the president of PL Mulher exposed a conflict with her stepson and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the party, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL).

The disagreement arises from a disagreement over an agreement involving former Finance Minister Ciro Gomes (PSDB), pre-candidate for the government of Ceará.

From the United States, Paulo criticized Michelle's performance and questioned her position in relation to PL Mulher.

"Feminism is a movement with a postmodern Marxist matrix that carries with it ideas such as identity quotas. [...] the idea of having a quota for race, age, is absolutely incompatible with the right-wing movement. [...] When we see a president of the PL transform this into an identity discussion, it's screwed. It's precisely a Marxist ideology", he criticized.

He admitted that, despite the criticism, he does not know her in depth, but that it would be the former first lady's moral and institutional obligation to support Flávio's ticket because they belong to the same party and because of the arrest of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

"When you look at Michelle, the reason for her success comes from a curious fact, which is precisely the fact that Michelle has never opened her mouth to talk about anything. She then follows a role. This creates an image of Amélia, a sweet, modest, religious woman. A very beautiful image. On the rare occasions when she decides to speak, the impression is damaged", he said.

The journalist also discussed the position of women in the electoral scenario, based on research that said that if only female votes were counted, only candidates from the Democratic Party would be elected president in the United States, with the exception of Ronald Reagan.

"Women vote statistically poorly, especially single women, married women tend to follow their husband."

Paulo usually works with former federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL) as spokesperson for the Bolsonaro family in the White House.

In some of these actions, they pressed for the application of the Magnitsky Law against the minister of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) Alexandre de Moraes, which resulted in a complaint filed by the PGR (Attorney General's Office) for acting as intermediaries in the United States for the application of sanctions.
