Passengers on flights to São Paulo airports were informed that travel is temporarily suspended due to a possible drop in frequency at the Airspace Approach Center, at Congonhas Airport, this Tuesday morning (2).

CNN Brasil received reports of at least two flights being delayed and not scheduled to take off due to the same problem: a "frequency drop". One of them, LA3039, which should have left Confins, in Minas Gerais, at 9:30 am bound for Congonhas but has not yet taken off. Flight passengers were informed that there was a drop in frequency.

In Brasília, another flight that was supposed to leave for São Paulo was also delayed and there is no forecast for takeoff. Passengers received information that they were "without radio connection to all São Paulo airports".

CNN Brasil reached out to Azul, Latam and Gol, as well as ANAC, Infraero, GRU Airport and Aena and is awaiting a response from all of them.
