Paraná PM investigates police officer for assault on truck driver; see images

The Military Police of Paraná reported that it initiated, this Wednesday (8), an administrative procedure to investigate the conduct of a police officer who attacked a truck driver during an approach on BR-369, in Cambé, in the north of the state.

A video shows the moment the police officer approaches the truck driver and makes him walk along the highway.

In a statement, the corporation reported that it was aware of the images circulating on social media and that it had already identified the soldier involved in the incident.

PMPR also stated that it initiated the appropriate administrative procedure to investigate the circumstances of the case, ensuring due legal process, adversarial proceedings and full defense.
