England was called up this Friday (22) for the 2026 World Cup, and the list caused controversy due to some notable absences. Among them are Palmer, Chelsea midfielder, Alexander-Arnold, Real Madrid right-back, and Harry Maguire, Manchester United defender.

But there are other names passed over by German coach Thomas Tuchel, such as: Luke Shaw, Fikayo Tomori, Lewis Hall (defenders); Adam Wharton, Morgan Gibbs-White, Alex Scott, Phil Foden (midfielders); and Jarrod Bowen (forward).

On the other hand, if Tuchel's list of 26 players does not have these names mentioned, highlights such as Bellingham, Kane, Rice and Saka have been confirmed. England are in Group L of the World Cup, alongside Croatia, Ghana and Panama.

The World Cup debut will be at 5pm (Brasília time) on June 17th, a Wednesday, when the English team will duel with Croatia. The game will be in Dallas, in the United States.
