Palmeiras ends fast and beats Flamengo in the Brasileirão after nine years
Palmeiras went to Maracanã and beat Flamengo 3-0, this Saturday (23), in the Brazilian Championship, and ended an uncomfortable fast.
Verdão had not beaten Mengão, in the Brasileirão, since 2017.
The last victory was on November 12, 2017, when it was 2-0, at Allianz Parque, with two goals from Deyverson.
Since then, there have been 16 duels, with eight Red and Black wins and eight draws. There were nine years without Alviverdes victories.
The triumph also ended a 10-year drought without Palestinian victories away from home in the clash.
On June 5, 2016, Verdão scored 2-1 in a duel played at Mané Garrincha, in Brasília.
