Palmeiras comfortable and São Paulo in crisis: the summary of Brasileirão day
Saturday (23) of the Brazilian Championship was busy, as expected, with five games for the 17th round, including the clash between Flamengo and Palmeiras in the fight for leadership.

Flamengo x Palmeiras
The "decision" of the Brazilian Championship between Flamengo and Palmeiras promised excitement - and it delivered, especially in the first half, when the capital moment of the confrontation came out: the expulsion of Colombian midfielder Jorge Carrascal.

São Paulo x Botafogo
São Paulo and Botafogo were tied 1-1 at Morumbis. Luciano, just four minutes into the game, opened the scoring in favor of the home team. Later, in the final stretch of the second stage, Jordan Barrera scored the great goal and left everything the same in the capital of São Paulo.
Grêmio x Santos
Grêmio defeated Santos 3-2, in Porto Alegre, and distanced itself from the relegation zone of the Brasileirão.
Carlos Vinícius was the main highlight of the victory of the club from Rio Grande do Sul, with two goals scored. On Peixe's side, Gabigol also found the net on two occasions. The decisive goal was scored by Tetê, 18 minutes into the second half.
Mirassol x Fluminense
Fluminense lost to Mirassol 1-0 and lost the chance of touching the leaders of the Brazilian Championship. Playing in Maião, in the interior of São Paulo, Tricolor Carioca wasted chances, complained about the refereeing and did not reduce the advantage against Palmeiras and Flamengo, leader and vice-leader of the Brasileirão.
Vitória x Internacional
With a goal from striker Renê, Vitória's highlight of the season with nine goals in 15 games, Leão da Barra beat Internacional 2-0 at home, at Barradão, in Salvador.
