"Os Donos do Jogo" begins filming the 2nd season with a samba circle; look
Recordings for the second season of the original Brazilian Netflix series "Os Donos do Jogo" began this Thursday (18). The production's cast met at the Academicos da Rocinha court, in Rio de Janeiro, to read the script.
The meeting ended with a samba circle with the presence of actors such as Adriano Garib, André Lamoglia, Bruno Mazzeo, Chico Diaz, Dandara Mariana, Giullia Buscaccio, Henrique Barreira, Juliana Paes, Mel Maia, Pedro Lamin, Ruan Aguiar and Stepan Nercessian.
The new season also features new cast members: Duda Matte, Elizabeth Savala and Willlean Reis.
Heitor Dhalia, one of the creators and general director of the series, highlighted the animation for another season of the series. "I'm very happy to be able to return to the fascinating world of Rio misdemeanors. To meet the fictional animal families again in another electrifying season of 'Os Donos do Jogo', with increasingly higher stakes," he said.
Os Donos do Jogo
The plot portrays the dynamics behind the Jogo do Bicho market, consolidated in Rio de Janeiro. The series' narrative follows four families - Moraes, Guerra, Fernandez and Saad - who dispute power, inheritance and territories.
Throughout the second season, the production brings twists and turns with new elements and characters involved in the story.
