On the opening day, Ivete Sangalo takes photos with the World Cup trophy
Singer Ivete Sangalo, 54, shared old photos on her social media in a World Cup atmosphere, this Thursday afternoon (11). In the images, the artist appears kissing the cup, dressed in the colors of the Brazilian flag.

The publication was made shortly before the opening ceremony of the event at the Azteca Stadium, in Mexico. Before the match that kicks off the World Cup, between Mexico and South Africa, the opening ceremony featured shows by Shakira and Nigerian singer Burna Boy. Also taking part were Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules and the band Maná, Danny Ocean, J Balvin and Ryan Castro.
On Friday (12), the ceremony takes place in Toronto, Canada, before the Canadian team's game. Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, William Prince and Nora Fatehi will be present on stage. Also participating in the party will be Palestinian singer Elyanna, French rapper Vegedream and Bengali DJ Sanjoy.
Finally, in the United States, Anitta, Katy Perry, Future, Lisa and Rema will conclude the trio of celebrations that will kick off the football tournament.
