Recovering from injury, Neymar watched from the bench the Brazilian team's 1-1 draw with Morocco, this Saturday (13), for their debut in the 2026 World Cup. During one of the hydration stops, the number 10 took the opportunity to guide some teammates on the field.

A video published on social media shows the moment in which Neymar talks to Vinicius Junior in his ear. Afterwards, the attacker calls Bruno Guimarães and also gives instructions to the midfielder.

At 34 years old, Neymar is one of the most experienced players in the squad led by Carlo Ancelotti. The striker is playing in his fourth World Cup and has 28 World Cup appearances.

Neymar is doubtful for the game with Haiti
Sources consulted by CNN Brasil confirm that, at the moment, Neymar is "unfit to play". Therefore, the player's participation is still in doubt for the match against Haiti, next Thursday (19), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in the second round of Group C.

Neymar trained at the gym this Saturday, according to presenter Ludmila Candal. The activity is part of the "Neymar Project", a plan focused on recovering from the injury to the player's right calf.

The program includes gym and physiotherapy sessions twice a day, as well as medical and nutritional monitoring. The strategy even foresees activities on the team's days off. The expectation is that the star will undergo tests on his calf again this week, before the clash against Haiti.
