On Saint-Exupéry's birthday, remember phrases from his best-known work

The French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry became known worldwide for his work "The Little Prince". Born 126 years ago, on June 29, 1900, some phrases from the work span generations and continue to impact readers in more than 382 languages and dialects, being the work with the largest number of translations after the Holy Bible.

In Brazil, the most famous and renowned translation is that of the poet Dom Marcos Barbosa, published for the first time in 1952. For 60 years, it was the only one available on the market and immortalized the phrases based on the interpretation of a single author.
