OitoMeia awaits regularization and could miss Corinthians in a duel for the LNF

Officially announced by Corinthians last Wednesday (3), winger Uhelliton Bonfim de Souza, known as OitoMeia, still depends on the regularization of his documentation to be available to the technical committee and make his debut for the club in the National Futsal League (LNF).

The player's name has not yet appeared in the Daily Newsletter (BID) of the Brazilian Futsal Confederation (CBFS), a necessary condition for him to be able to officially play for the black and white team. While waiting for the process to be completed, the athlete used social media to comment on the expectations surrounding his debut.

In a video published on Instagram Stories, OitoMeia responded in a relaxed way to the questions he has been receiving from fans about the possibility of taking the court in the next round of the competition.

"We arrived at Parque São Jorge. Sunday. And the question remains: 'So, Oito, when will you debut? Tomorrow, against Santo André?' Question for CBFS. CBFS, come on, son. He didn't work on holidays, he didn't work on Fridays. We are here at the mine, waiting. Come on, son, scratch yourself. Let's let Barba play, man. Come up with the name."

According to the rules of the National Futsal League, only athletes with a published record at the IDB can be listed for official matches. Therefore, until the situation is regularized with the CBFS, the reinforcement remains unable to defend Corinthians.

The club's expectation is to have the player as soon as possible, but OitoMeia's presence in the match this Monday (8), against Santo André, at 8 pm (Brasília time), at Ginásio Wlamir Marques, still depends on the entity's system being updated.

The clash is considered important for the team led by Fernando Malafaia. Corinthians currently occupies 13th place in the National League, with four points won, and is trying to move away from the bottom of the table. Santo André appears right behind, in 14th place, making the duel direct in the fight for better positions in the competition.
