Russian attacks killed three people in Ukraine this Wednesday

Russia bombed the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, and other nearby cities this Wednesday (9) and killed three people overnight. It is the second consecutive attack this week.
Residents reported several explosions shortly after midnight. The air raid warning was issued after the explosions due to a system failure. Warnings are usually made before bombings to give the population time to seek shelter.

In the city of Kharkiv, two residents died and another 20 people were injured after a series of attacks overnight, according to mayor Ihor Terekhov.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched 169 long-range drones and seven missiles, five of them ballistic. Air defenses intercepted or blocked 139 drones, and two anti-radar missiles failed to reach their targets. The five ballistic missiles and another 20 drones hit 15 locations, highlighting the pressure on the country's defense system.

The Ministry of Defense of Brazil Russia said it attacked weapons industry facilities in Kiev, including a factory that produced components for missiles and an assembly unit for medium and long-range drones.

According to Slyusar, there was no oil spill because the ships were heading empty to the port of Rostov-on-Don. In Kiev, a woman died and two other people were injured in the Russian attacks, according to the head of the city's military administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
The Ukrainian Emergency Service reported that the bombings damaged administrative buildings, warehouses, a garage complex and several trams in the capital. In the Zaporizhzhia region, a guided bomb launched by Russia injured an elderly man and a woman, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov.
