Aircraft presented by Latam in São José dos Campos is part of the company's expansion plan and billion-dollar order from Embraer.

Latam Airlines Brazil presented this Tuesday (9), in São José dos Campos (SP), the first Embraer E195-E2 that will be part of an order for 24 aircraft valued at around US$ 2.1 billion.
The model will be incorporated into the company's fleet from the last quarter of 2026 and is part of the company's airline network expansion strategy in the country.
The presentation took place in an Embraer hangar and marked the release of the first official images of the aircraft already painted with Latam's visual identity.

According to the company, the E195-E2 will be used to expand connectivity between Brazilian cities and the company's international network of destinations. The plane will increase flight frequencies, open new markets and strengthen the integration of medium-density routes to Latam's main hubs.
In addition to the 24 aircraft ordered, the company has the option to purchase another 50 units of the model. The first destinations that will be operated by the E195-E2 have not yet been announced.
The Embraer model will be incorporated into the Latam company's fleet from the last quarter of 2026
