Norwegian players pose as Vikings in a photo for the World Cup; see essay

After the making-of images went viral on social media, the Norwegian team finally published the final result of the rehearsal with the players dressed as Vikings. The official photo for the World Cup shows the squad dressed in clothes, hairstyles and even weapons from the time, in a typical scenario of the country.

On his personal Instagram, star Erling Haaland had already published a photo featuring himself and with the caption: "Viking blood".

Other stars such as Odegaard, from Arsenal, and Alexander Sorloth, from Atlético de Madrid, also appear in the official photo. Behind the scenes, the players showed good humor as they prepared for the photo.

Norway is in Group I of the World Cup, and debuts in the competition on June 16, against Iraq. France and Senegal are also part of the group.
