Neymar's return to training will be evaluated this Monday (15)
Neymar Júnior can return to training with the rest of the Brazilian squad this Monday (15).
Today, at 5pm, the players train at the CT in Columbia Park, New Jersey. It will be the opportunity to test the beginning of the attacker's physical transition. During this period, in general, an athlete can gradually return to full activity, but under load control and some restrictions to avoid any type of wear and tear.
There is also a forecast, as already anticipated by CNN Brasil, of repeating some tests to evaluate the evolution of the grade two injury in the player's right calf.
In addition to training on the field, work in the gym is also adapted to increase intensity and allow the recovery of the physical condition lost during the injury treatment period. Neymar has been injured since May 17th during the match against Coritiba in the Brazilian Championship.
Despite the possible start of the physical transition, the player's presence in the next match is still in doubt due to the short period between on-field training with the squad and the game.
Training after the draw
This Monday's training session will be the first on the field after the 1-1 draw with Morocco. Deficiencies in the midfield and attacking sector will be assessed by coach Carlo Ancelotti and a restructuring will be carried out for the match against Haiti, next Friday (19).
