Neymar does not travel with the national team to Philadelphia and is out of Brazil x Haiti
Neymar will not accompany the Brazilian team delegation on the trip to Philadelphia. The information was confirmed by the CBF this Thursday (18).
According to the organization, the attacker will remain in New Jersey to optimize the final phase of the recovery process from his right calf injury, which has sidelined him for around a month.
During the period, number 10 will continue to use the facilities at The Ridge hotel and CT Columbia Park, where the team is based during the 2026 World Cup.
The decision is part of the planning prepared by the CBF medical department to speed up the player's recovery. Neymar began the physical transition phase this week and has already resumed activities on the pitch, but still works separately from the rest of the squad.
As a result, the striker's presence in the match against Haiti, in the second round of the group stage, is unfeasible. The technical committee adopts caution to avoid any risk of worsening the injury.

Neymar suffered the muscle problem on May 17, during Santos' match against Coritiba, the day before the call-up for the World Cup. Since then, he was left out of preparatory friendlies and also the Brazilian team's debut in the tournament.
The expectation is that the player will continue to be monitored daily and undergo new assessments before eventual reintegration into training with the rest of the group.
