Netinho talks about the return of cancer: "Stronger and more aggressive"
Singer Netinho, 59, opened up on his social media this Saturday (30) about the new treatment he will need to undergo when cancer returns.
"Yesterday I had a long meeting with my doctor, Dr. Glória Bonfim Arruda, and she told me that the lymphoma that returned this time is more powerful, stronger and more aggressive. A new target was detected in it, and it was this target that defined the treatment I will undergo," he said in a video.
Netinho said that he will begin the new interventions next Tuesday (2) and will continue until June 8, but he is already preparing.
"She told me that this lymphoma is very rare [...] This time, the treatment will not be hospitalized, it will be laboratory-based. There will only be hospitalization if something happens, for example, some serious side effect. The other time, I had none. Another battle begins. I am firm and strong", he concluded.
The singer discovered that the cancer had returned in early May. When revealing the new diagnosis to his fans, through social media, he became emotional and said that he was undergoing tests to find out what the next steps in treatment would be.
