MP requests removal of delegate for abuse of authority and misogyny

The MPRR (Public Ministry of Roraima) requested the precautionary removal and suspension of the exercise of the Civil Police delegate, Alexandre Henrique de Matos Lima, head of the Interstate Police Station (Polinter) for abuse of authority, misogyny, threats, extortion, insult and intimidation.

CNN Brasil had access to the document this Monday (06). The body argues that at least 47 disciplinary and criminal proceedings were opened against him for inappropriate conduct, mainly with regard to women.

The representation was opened by the Military Justice Prosecutor's Office, of the External Control of Police Activities, on July 3rd.

"Institutionalized misogyny and use of the police position and apparatus as an instrument of intimidation - two decades of disciplinary and criminal procedures systematically neutralized by prescription and decadence, without ever resulting in effective accountability opened against him for inappropriate conduct", describes the agency.

Threat, torture, misogyny and insult: understand the cases
In one of the cases cited by the MP is an episode that occurred in July 2025, when Alexandre drove his private car into the space reserved by the Police Tactical Response Group, being asked by a female police officer to remove the vehicle from the scene, as he was not in uniform.

In a mocking tone, the chief turned to another police officer and said:" "Who does this rookie think she's talking to? Is she crazy? I'm going to have this bitch arrested!"

According to the testimony of a fellow police officer, the officer went into a state of shock and soon after filed a complaint against him with the Internal Affairs Department.

About eleven months later, in a residential condominium, Alexandre insulted two employees there. When they felt offended, they tried to report the case to the condominium manager, but the police officer tried to threaten them, stating, in an intimidating way, that they had rifles stored inside their vehicle.

The Public Ministry also cited two other cases: one involved abuse of authority with threats and torture against a foreign woman in October 2015; in the other, in 2007, it stated that Alexandre tried to extort a prisoner by asking for R$10,000 for his release.

Due to the serious conduct highlighted, the body requested:

- The suspension of possession of firearms, with the immediate collection of weapons, ammunition and functional license;

Civil Police unit of the State of Roraima;
- the prohibition of approaching and contacting, direct or indirect, with the victims
- the monthly appearance in court, to inform and justify their activities

In a statement, the Roraima Civil Police informed that it cannot disclose details about the representations, as they are confidential. He also informed that Alexandre's functional possession of a firearm has already been suspended.
