Move Brasil credit line for app couriers is postponed until July 27th

The Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (Mdic) postponed until July 27th the start of operations of the credit line, in public banks, intended for application deliverers, within the Move Brasil program.
According to the government, the financing, which would begin on July 13th, had its schedule changed to allow for the completion of technological and operational tests between the systems involved.
"The adjustment to the schedule was necessary to complete technological and operational tests between the systems involved, with the aim of ensuring safety and stability in providing services to workers", stated the ministry, in a statement released this morning.
As a result, from July 27th, workers who have confirmed participation in the program must contact Caixa, Banco do Brasil or qualified financial institutions for credit analysis and contracting financing.

Approving the registration only confirms that the worker meets the program's requirements. The release of financing, however, will depend on the credit analysis carried out by the banks.
About the line
The line of credit is intended for delivery drivers, cyclists and motorcyclists, motorbike drivers and motorbike taxi drivers who use motorbikes or bicycles as a work tool, through an application or with a formal employment contract.
The program allows financing, without a down payment, one brand new vehicle per beneficiary, including electric bicycles, scooters, mopeds, electric motorbikes and flex motorbikes, as per the rules of the program.
The financing, guaranteed by the Operations Guarantee Fund (FGO), has a term of up to 48 months and a grace period of two months to start payment.
