Moraes authorizes service provider to enter Bolsonaro's house
Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), authorized this Friday (5) the entry of a service provider into the house where former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) is under house arrest in Brasília.
The authorization was granted after the defense informed the need to carry out repairs and maintenance on the property. According to lawyers, services include repairing a hydraulic leak, maintenance of frames and inspections of equipment and installations in the external area of the residence.
Bolsonaro has been under house arrest since March 27, when he was discharged from DF Star Hospital, in Brasília. At the time, Moraes granted temporary humanitarian house arrest for 90 days so that the former president could recover from bronchopneumonia.
In the decision, Moraes authorized the entry of the professional on the 9th, 10th and 11th of June, from 8am to 5pm. The minister also ordered that the worker undergo a prior inspection and that cell phones and other electronic devices remain under the custody of the agents responsible for site security.
