Miss Brazil falls on stage after coming in 5th place in Egypt

Gaúcha Joana Camargo, representative of Brazil in the Miss Eco International 2026 contest, in Egypt, took a fall live on the competition stage and fell sitting on the floor this Friday afternoon (22). The situation drew attention on social media.

The fall happened at the moment when Joana's placement was to be announced. The 29-year-old from Rio Grande do Sul was a finalist in the competition focused on environmental causes and sustainability and finished the competition in 5th place.
