Ministries of Labor and Finance create PAT Management Committee

The Ministries of Labor and Finance issued a decree creating the CGEPAT (Worker's Food Program Management Committee), with the participation of the two Departments and the Civil House.

The text was published in the DOU (Official Gazette of the Union).

According to the ordinance, the PAT Management Committee must establish parameters for fees, the total effective cost and the payment period to commercial establishments, without prejudice to the terms and conditions of the contract.

The board may also change the maximum limit for the discount rate and the interchange fee.

The ordinance also provides that the committee's responsibilities include determining the opening of arrangements for facilitators of purchasing ready-to-eat meals or foodstuffs.

In addition, regulating the rules and establishing the conditions for the operation of open arrangements, allowing the establishment of limits for the fees charged to participants are also among the criteria.

CGEPAT will meet quarterly.
