Actress Millie Bobby Brown, 22, revealed that she faced a delicate period after the end of the series "Stranger Things" and spent weeks trying to strengthen her relationship with her co-stars.

The star, who played the protagonist Eleven (Eleven) for a decade in the acclaimed Netflix production, reported that she made a point of resolving any pending issues before saying goodbye to the team.

In an interview with the podcast "Happy Sad Confused", Millie admitted that she didn't expect the end of the series to affect her so much.

"I went into a kind of mild depression. It was very difficult for me. I didn't expect to feel like this after the end of the series. I'm a very 'up' person," he said.

The actress explained that she spent much of January getting in touch with her colleagues to ensure that the friendship they had built over the years would continue even after filming ended.

"They probably thought I was crazy. I'd ask, 'We're still friends, right? You're not going to stop talking to me now, are you?'

The artist admitted that the farewell process was more difficult than she imagined.

"I was on the beach, everything was beautiful, and I just sat down and started crying. It was a very challenging time for me."

Millie also reflected on the bond she created with Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), with whom she shared much of her childhood and adolescence during filming.

"No one will ever understand this experience. I started the series when I was 10 years old, and that character was me. These people were more a part of my life than my own family. I saw these people more than I went home for dinner with my family. Saying goodbye to that after ten years was a very emotional moment. And I will miss Eleven more than anything else," he concluded.
