Miley Cyrus is the first person born after 1990 to receive a star on the Walk of Fame
Singer Miley Cyrus, 33, was honored this Friday (22) with a star on the Walk of Fame. With the honor, the singer became the first person born after 1990 to be honored with her name on the avenue.
Although she is the first person born after the decade, she is not the youngest to receive the honor. According to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, he told CNN Brasil, the youngest recipients were actress Patty McCormack, at 15, and the joint star of sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who received the honor at 18.
The Grammy winner received the 2,845th star in the Recording category at 7011 Hollywood Blvd on the popular Los Angeles avenue and received tributes from Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace.
"Miley deserves to be honored, as she left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry, and we are very happy to be able to give her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Generations of young girls have grown up following her evolution, being inspired by her journey and her fearless creativity", wrote Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame.
