Miley Cyrus is the first artist from the 1990s to have a star on the Walk of Fame
This Friday (22), singer Miley Cyrus will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She will receive the 2,845th star and will be the only person born after 1990 to join the hall. The star will be in the "Recording" category.
"Miley deserves to be honored as she left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry, and we are thrilled to be able to give her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," said Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer. "Generations of young girls have grown up following her evolution, being inspired by her journey and her fearless creativity."
The artist rose to fame after starring in the children's series "Hannah Montana", on the Disney Channel. With the production, it was nominated three times for the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Over the years, he has released studio albums, moving between pop, rock and country. Cyrus' most recent project is the 2025 visual album "Something Beautiful."
The tribute takes place tomorrow, the 22nd, at 4:30 pm (Brasília time) and will be broadcast live on the Walk of Fame website. The ceremony will feature actress Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace as speakers.
