Milan announce the signing of striker Gonçalo Ramos

Milan announced, this Tuesday (30), the signing of Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos, who leaves Paris Saint-Germain. The player signed a contract with the Italian club until June 2031.

According to the Italian press, Milan paid more than 70 million euros (around R$450 million) for the transfer, making Gonçalo Ramos the most expensive signing in the club's history.

The striker is the team's first major reinforcement under the command of coach Rúben Amorim, hired to lead the reformation of Milan after a disappointing season, in which the team was left out of the Champions League.

Revealed in the youth categories of Olhanense and Benfica, Gonçalo Ramos made his professional debut for the Lisbon club in 2020. In total, he played more than 100 matches for the Portuguese team, scored 41 goals and won the Portuguese Championship in the 2022-23 season.

In 2023, he was signed by Paris Saint-Germain. For the French club, he took to the field 131 times, scored 45 times and won 12 titles, including two consecutive Champions League trophies.

The 25-year-old striker was also part of the Portugal squad for the 2026 World Cup. Ramos entered the field in the final stretch of the 1-1 draw with the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the first round of Group K, played on June 17.
