Mick Jagger reveals interest in film biography of the Rolling Stones, but highlights main challenge

Furthermore, the controversial film "Michael", about Michael Jackson, achieved great success at the box office. Despite this wave, the Rolling Stones have not yet had their trajectory portrayed in an official film, something that Mick Jagger recognizes, demonstrating enthusiasm, but pondering the biggest obstacle to realizing the project. In an interview with GQ magazine, Jagger stated: "Yes, that interests me. I don't want to impose my vision, but I know how I see it. There are many ways to write biographies." The singer explained that most biopics focus on a specific period in the artist's life, illustrated by the Bob Dylan film, which highlights the moment he adopted the electric guitar. "You have to think about which moment you're going to focus on. Where's your two-year interest?" asked Jagger, highlighting the complexity of condensing such an extensive career into one film. With more than six decades of history, the Rolling Stones present a unique challenge for any filmmaker: choosing which phase of the band's trajectory would be most suitable for the script. "I don't know which part, because it's a long period", admitted the vocalist. It is worth remembering that, in 2005, the film "Stoned" was released, which covered the life of the late founding member Brian Jones, but which did not have the support of the band, which prohibited the use of their songs in the production. Currently, Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones continue to write their story, especially with the release of the new album "Foreign Tongues", scheduled for July 10th.
