Former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) praised this Friday (3) the National Policy for Bilingual Education for the Deaf, launched by the Ministry of Education. She called the program a "dream come true" and was criticized on social media by the Bolsonarista base.

The program aims to guarantee supply, access and retention of students who use this type of teaching. The former first lady made a post on social media reinforcing that she continued working for a more accessible Brazil and congratulated the "community" on the program.

According to Michelle's allies, the former first lady congratulated the deaf community for considering that the measure meets an agenda defended by her since the Bolsonaro government, when she articulated the creation of a board focused on bilingual education for the deaf.

On social media, a significant portion of the Bolsonarist base came out against Michelle. Deputies, senators and important figures from the PL began sharing on WhatsApp a photo of the former first lady wearing the PT shirt.

Bolsonaro militants also shared reports highlighting Michelle's praise for the program followed by phrases such as "traitor".

This is another episode in a crisis that grew last week. The former first lady published a video claiming to have been "stabbed" and decided to publicly expose the friction she has been experiencing for months with her stepson Flávio Bolsonaro.

The senator responded the same night to accusations that he had disrespected and humiliated Michelle during a telephone call. On his social networks, the pre-candidate publicly apologized to his father's wife and said that he had an "open heart" for her.

The publication generated an internal debate and divided the PL between congressmen who were in favor of Flávio and those who were pro-Michelle.

After a series of criticisms, Michelle announced on Tuesday that she was leaving the helm of PL Mulher and left the dispute open.

Flávio and the president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto, met this Friday (3) in Rio de Janeiro, during a Liberal Party seminar. According to information from anchor Gustavo Uribe, the meeting was marked by a conversation about the crisis generated by the video released by Michelle Bolsonaro, in which she exposed friction with Flávio.

Valdemar has advocated that Michelle and Flávio meet in person to overcome their discomfort. However, the former first lady has resisted the proposal. "She has even indicated that she will not stand on Flávio's platform during the electoral process", highlighted Uribe during this Friday's CNN Backstage.
