Civil police officers arrested, this Thursday (2), a man identified as one of those responsible for the CV (Comando Vermelho) money laundering scheme operating in the Northeast of the country. The capture took place in the Madureira neighborhood, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
The action was carried out by agents from DPCA-NIT (Child and Adolescent Protection Police Station of Niterói), in conjunction with the Civil Police of Piauí.
According to investigations, the suspect had a central role in the financial structure of the criminal organization, being responsible for moving resources obtained through the faction's illicit activities.
