Meeting between the USA and Iran scheduled for this Friday (19) in Switzerland is canceled

The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the negotiations that were scheduled for this Friday (19) between the USA and Iran in the resort of Burgenstock, Switzerland, will not take place.

The announcement came after a White House spokesman said on Thursday night (18) that US Vice President JD Vance had dropped out of a planned trip to meet with Iranian negotiators in Switzerland on Friday, with the aim of starting talks on implementing the agreement reached between Tehran and Washington to end the war.
