Meet Brazil's 26 squad for the World Cup
The Brazilian team debuts at the 2026 World Cup this Saturday (13), against Morocco, in Group D. Under the command of Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil is looking for a sixth title with a squad that mixes experienced players, such as Neymar, Casemiro and Marquinhos, and athletes who will compete in the World Cup for the first time.
On the eve of the debut, the Seleção suffered a loss. Wesley suffered an injury during the friendly against Egypt and was recalled. For the vacancy, Ancelotti called midfielder Éderson, from Atalanta.

Goalkeepers
Alisson (Liverpool)
At 33 years old, Alisson will play in his third consecutive World Cup after defending Brazil as a starter in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
2019 Copa América Champion, has 78 caps for the Brazilian team. Revealed by Internacional, he built a career in Europe with Roma and Liverpool and remains a reference for his position in the squad led by Carlo Ancelotti.
Ederson (Fenerbahçe)
A frequent presence in Brazil's squad in recent years, Ederson will compete in his third World Cup. The goalkeeper was at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups as Alisson's backup.
Revealed by São Paulo, he had a career in Portugal before standing out for Manchester City. For the Brazilian team, he has played 32 games.
Weverton (Grêmio)
At 38 years old, Weverton arrives for another World Cup after joining the Brazilian group in Qatar, in 2022.
The goalkeeper was one of the protagonists in winning Olympic gold at the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016, saving the decisive penalty in the final against Germany. He was also part of the Copa América champion squad.
Defenders
Alex Sandro (Flamengo)
At 35 years old, Alex Sandro arrives at the World Cup as one of the experienced options for left back. The defender played in the 2022 World Cup and has 45 games and two goals for the Brazilian team.
Revealed by Athletico-PR, he built a good part of his career in Europe before returning to Brazilian football to defend Flamengo.
Bremer (Juventus)
Bremer will play his second World Cup. The 29-year-old defender has eight appearances and one goal for the Brazilian national team.
Revealed as a professional by Atlético-MG, he built a career in Italian football, where he stood out for Torino and Juventus.
Danilo (Flamengo)
Able to play as a winger or defender, Danilo will compete in his third World Cup after participating in the 2018 and 2022 editions.
Experienced, the defender has spent time at Santos, Porto, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Juventus. He is one of the leaders of the Brazilian cast.
Douglas Santos (Zenit)
Douglas Santos is one of the options for left back in the World Cup. The defender has seven caps for the main Brazilian team.
Revealed in football in Paraíba, he spent time at Atlético-MG before heading to Europe. It was also part of the Olympic gold campaign at the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016.
Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal)
Gabriel Magalhães will play in his first World Cup. The defender has already played in 17 matches for the Brazilian team and scored one goal.
Revealed by Avaí, he established himself in European football before arriving at Arsenal, where he became one of the main defenders of the English team.
Ibañez (Al-Ahli)
Roger Ibañez will play in his first World Cup for the Brazilian team.
The defender once again gained space with Carlo Ancelotti after being out of the squad since 2023. Revealed by Fluminense, he built a career in Italy before moving to Saudi football.
Léo Pereira (Flamengo)
At 30 years old, Léo Pereira arrives for his first World Cup.
The defender gained Carlo Ancelotti's trust in friendlies against France and Croatia. Left-footed, he is seen as an important alternative for the left side of the defense.
Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain)
Captain of the Brazilian team, Marquinhos will compete in his third World Cup after participating in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
With 105 appearances for the national team, he won the 2019 Copa América and the gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. He is one of the main leaders of Ancelotti's squad.
Midfielders
Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle)
Bruno Guimarães will play in his second World Cup. One of the pillars of Carlo Ancelotti's team, the midfielder has played 43 games for the Brazilian national team.
Revealed by Audax and projected nationally at Athletico-PR, he built a career in Europe with Lyon and Newcastle, where he became captain and idol of the English team.
Casemiro (Manchester United)
Carlo Ancelotti's trusted man since his Real Madrid days, Casemiro will play in his third World Cup.
2019 Copa América Champion, the midfielder has played 86 games, nine goals and five assists for the Brazilian team. Revealed by São Paulo, he built a successful career in Europe, playing for teams such as Porto and Real Madrid.
Danilo Santos (Botafogo)
Danilo will make his World Cup debut. The midfielder returned to gain space in the national team after two years and scored his first goal with the Brazilian shirt in a friendly against Croatia.
Revealed by Palmeiras, he played for Nottingham Forest before returning to Brazilian football to play for Botafogo.
Éderson (Atalanta)
Called up after Wesley's injury, Éderson is part of Ancelotti's group for his first World Cup.
Revealed by Desportivo Brasil, he played for Cruzeiro, Corinthians and Fortaleza before moving on to Italian football. Called up for the first time in 2024, he has played three games for the Brazilian team.
Fabinho (Al-Ittihad)
Fabinho will compete in his second World Cup after joining the Brazilian squad at the Qatar Cup in 2022.
Versatile, the player can act as a midfielder or right-back. Revealed in São Paulo football, he built a career in Europe with Monaco and Liverpool before moving on to Saudi football.
Lucas Paquetá (Flamengo)
Paquetá returns for his second World Cup as one of the most experienced players in the Brazilian midfield.
Since his debut for the Seleção, in 2018, he has accumulated 63 appearances and 13 goals. 2019 Copa América champion, returned to Flamengo this year after spells at Milan, Lyon and West Ham.
Forwards
Endrick (Lyon)
At 19 years old, Endrick will play in his first World Cup. The striker has 17 appearances and four goals for the Brazilian national team.
Revealed by Palmeiras, he gained prominence at a very young age before moving to European football, with spells at Real Madrid and Lyon.
In the last friendly against Egypt, he scored the goal that sealed Brazil's 2-1 victory.
Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal)
Martinelli arrives for his second World Cup after joining the Brazilian group in Qatar, in 2022.
The striker has 23 appearances and four goals for the Brazilian national team. Revealed by Ituano, he built his entire European career at Arsenal, a club he has defended since 2019.
Igor Thiago (Brentford)
One of the new additions to Carlo Ancelotti's list, Igor Thiago will play in his first World Cup.
The striker gained ground in the team's recent friendlies and scored a goal against Panama. Revealed by Cruzeiro, he built a career in Bulgaria and Belgium before arriving in English football.
Luiz Henrique (Zenit)
Luiz Henrique will compete in his first World Cup for the Brazilian team.

Matheus Cunha (Manchester United)
