MC Gorila undergoes intestinal surgery after cancer diagnosis
Singer MC Gorila, 48, revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo bowel surgery. The information was released by the artist's team last Saturday (27) in a statement published on social media.
According to the official note, the procedure was carried out successfully and now the funk singer continues to recover, with support from the medical team, family and those close to him.
"The MC Gorila team, through this note, informs fans, friends, partners and contractors that the artist had to undergo intestinal surgery as a result of a cancer diagnosis", says the statement.
Also according to the note, the period requires attention and dedication to the MC's health, however the recovery has progressed positively.
"MC Gorila remains determined and confident in his recovery process and will soon gradually return to his activities and the stage, doing what he loves most: taking his music and energy to the public", adds the note.
