Running midfielder José Martínez spoke for the first time about the episodes that resulted in his termination with Corinthians at the beginning of March. According to the Venezuelan, the injury, to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of his left knee, occurred during the Copa do Brasil final, in December 2025, and was already known to the club's medical department.
