Marquinhos' wife reports fear and tension with tornado warning in the USA
Digital influencer Carol Cabrino, 33, reported having experienced moments of fear and tension on Saturday (4) after receiving a tornado alert on her cell phone in the United States. The wife of player Marquinhos, defender of the Brazilian National Team, is in the country to accompany the PSG star during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In her Instagram stories, the São Paulo native said that she was getting out of the shower when she received notifications on her cell phone that advised her to find a safe place and warned about the arrival of a mini tornado in the region where she is.
"I was getting out of the shower, my cell phone started beeping. I started to receive several messages from the government here saying [...] that it was a mini tornado. I look at the window, it starts to get really windy and the power goes out at the same minute", said Carol. "I started to panic and I was at the top of the house and the house shook."
Carol Cabrino is in New Jersey, the state where the Brazilian team plays this Sunday (5) against Norway in the round of 16 match of the World Cup. The state was one of those hit by a tornado that interrupted the 4th of July celebrations, the date on which United States Independence Day was celebrated.
The São Paulo native and Marquinhos have been together for more than 13 years and got married in 2016. They are parents of four children: Maria Eduarda, 8 years old, Enrico, 6, Martina, 4, and the youngest Filippo, who was born in March this year and recently turned three months old. A former singer, Cabrino abandoned her musical career to live with her husband in Paris, where he plays as a defender for Paris Saint-Germain.
The relationship gained prominence with the documentary "As Convocadas", produced by Estúdios Globo, which follows the challenges and behind-the-scenes lives of the wives and companions of Brazilian National Team players, during the preparation for the World Cup.
