Marina Silva says that the US decision on factions affects Flávio's "friends"
The former Minister of the Environment, Marina Silva, commented this Friday (29) on the decision of the United States government that classified the criminal organizations Comando Vermelho and PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) as terrorist organizations.
Without directly mentioning the name of pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), who stated that he worked with Washington for the decision this Thursday (28), Marina stated that "this measure will mainly affect the friends of the person who went there to ask for this" in this year's election.
"I think it will first impact the friends of those who made this type of proposal, those who are involved with organized crime and who you all know in the media. These will be the most impacted, for sure", she declared during a PT event in São Paulo.
Flávio traveled to the United States at the beginning of this week and had meetings with American President Donald Trump, on Tuesday (26), and also with the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, on Wednesday (27). On Thursday night, Rubio announced the decision on the factions and Flávio celebrated on his social networks.
Afterwards, Marina defended the actions of the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in combating organized crime and the country's sovereignty in defense. Marina also criticized actions that promote "any type of interventionist adventurism", stating that any such attitude in the country "is not tolerable".
"In order to take care of Brazil's security problems, it is Brazil who takes care of it, which is why today the debate on security is nationalized, which is why President Lula is willing to work with all governors. Now, creating hooks - which is a language of diplomacy - to enable any type of interventionist adventurism in our country, this is not tolerable", he concluded.
