Marina Sena says she has never seen better food than Pará
Singer Marina Sena took advantage of her visit to Belém to praise the cuisine of Pará. In videos published on social media this Wednesday (17), the artist stated that she has never found better food than that of Pará.
In Instagram stories, the artist tried typical dishes from the region after recordings made in tourist spots in the capital. In the scenes, Marina appears drinking broth and tasting crab legs.
Enchanted by the Amazonian flavors, the singer especially highlighted tacacá and tucupi, ingredients considered symbols of Pará gastronomy.
"Guys, if one day someone knows a better food than tacacá, better than tucupi, tell me, because I've never seen it. I'd like to eat that every day of my life, every day", he declared.
Accompanied by the production team, the artist made recordings at the Francisco Bolonha Municipal Meat Market, located in the Ver-o-Peso complex, one of the city's main postcards and considered the largest open-air fair in Latin America.
Records shared by producer and artist from Pará Onze da Silva also show Marina singing in the market and at Solar da Beira, another tourist space located on the banks of Guajará Bay.
What is tacacá?
Considered one of the most traditional dishes of Amazonian cuisine, tacacá is a broth served hot and prepared with tucupi, a liquid extracted from wild cassava, cassava gum, dried shrimp and jambu, a typical herb from the region known for causing a slight sensation of numbness in the mouth.
Although it was already widely known in the North Region, tacacá gained even more visibility throughout the country after the success of the song "Voando pro Pará", by singer Joelma.
The song went viral on social media with the chorus that invites the public to "take a tacacá". The hit boosted challenges on the internet, increased tourists' curiosity about Pará cuisine and helped to further popularize the dish outside the Amazon.
