American singer Mariah Carey will perform in São Paulo this year, as announced by the event's sponsor this Tuesday (26). The show is expected to take place in November, although official details, such as the location and start of ticket sales, have not yet been released.
The announcement was made through a marketing campaign on social media that quickly caught the attention of fans. In the teaser, the Itaú bank displayed a poster covered in blocks of ice accompanied by the phrase "thaw forecast on Avenida Paulista".
Fans understood the message as an allusion to the artist's symbolic "thawing" as Christmas approaches every year - traditionally, Mariah begins her Christmas tours and concert seasons in November. Although the announcement had not yet been made official, at around 10:30 am it was already possible to see the artist's face on the poster.
Mariah Carey's last visit to São Paulo took place in September 2025, when the singer was one of the main attractions at the The Town festival, at the Autódromo de Interlagos.
