Marcos Oliveira, Beiçola, had surgery and is hospitalized; see update

Actor Marcos Oliveira, 70, known for the role of Beiçola in "A Grande Família", underwent surgery this Thursday (2) and is admitted to Hospital São Lucas, in Copacabana, to recover from the procedure to remove an abscess.

To CNN Brasil, the team reported that the surgery took place around 11 am and he is already in a room in the ICU (Intensive Therapy Center) to be closely observed. The artist is conscious and has regained his appetite.

In mid-April, the interpreter of pastry chef Beiçola underwent another surgical procedure, this time to treat a herniated disc.
