Mara Maravilha rules out disagreements and rivalry with Eliana: "I mirrored myself"

Singer Mara Maravilha, 58, ruled out any disagreement and stated, in an interview with the podcast Papagaio Falante, that she mirrors Eliana as a presenter.

The Bahian, who runs the Programa Maravilha from Monday to Friday on Rede Gospel, commented on the children's presenters of her generation - Xuxa, Angélica and Eliana herself - and highlighted the figure of the presenter of "Em Família", on TV Globo.

"Eliana is extraordinary. Of all of them, including me, she has the most wisdom of all. We have a lot to learn from her", he declared. I've been at Rede Gospel for three years and, oddly enough, I learned, looked up to myself and set out to learn by looking at Eliana."

Mara also praised Angélica for prioritizing her family over her career, and stated that she finds it healthy that her disagreements and reconciliations with Xuxa are good for the imagination created around the two.

In 2023, she publicly criticized the meeting between Xuxa, Angélica and Eliana during that year's "Criança Esperança".

"Laughing for nothing and people still ask me why my absence is so remembered? There is no shortage of answers (laughs). Everything works for the good of those who are in good spirits!", wrote the Bahian on her Instagram.

Years earlier, in 2019, she also mocked a meeting between the three of them for a commercial. ""They forgot about me", he commented on the post promoting the material.

As the presenter of a children's program in the 1980s and 1990s, Mara competed with Xuxa, who had her program on Globo, and Angélica, who at the time was on TV Manchete. Eliana had her childhood on SBT when Mara had already left the channel.
