Man sprays pepper spray at school because of noise in SP

A 36-year-old man pepper-sprayed a school last weekend because of the noise coming from there. The situation happened on Saturday (27), in the city of Conchas, in the interior of São Paulo.

The local news outlet, Jornal Nosso Informativo, sent images of the situation to CNN Brasil.

It is possible to follow the person being investigated by covering their face and spraying towards the interior of the school, where the students were.

The authorities arrested him in the act, after being called to respond to the incident and, upon arriving at the address, they discovered that the suspect used the spray because of the noise from the activities taking place at the event.

The perpetrator of the crime still resisted the approach, was arrested, taken to the police station and released after providing explanations and paying bail in the amount of R$3,000. He now faces freedom for the crimes of bodily harm, danger to the life or health of others and resistance.

The people who were there felt unwell due to the substance and were treated on the spot, without the need to be taken to the hospital.

The bottle of pepper spray he used in the action was seized, and the case was registered at the Botucatu Sectional Police Station, a city close to the incident.
