Man accused of booing Virginia at Maracanã apologizes; look
Gabriel Moreira, a fan accused of insulting influencer Virginia Fonseca, 27, at Maracanã, spoke out about the case last Monday night (1st).
Shortly after the incident went viral, a second spectator of the game published a video in which he laughingly pointed at Gabriel and said: "He's the one who pulled it." Throughout the new statement, recorded alongside his wife, Kamyla, Moreira reinforced that, in fact, he was not the one who started it.
"I come here publicly to ask Virginia Fonseca for forgiveness. I understand what I did wrong. I really understand. I'm here, from the bottom of my heart, speaking normally; there's nothing edited. It's a simple video for Virginia and for all the women who felt offended. It wasn't me who pulled it, but regardless of who pulled it, where it came from and who continued, everyone is wrong," he said.
The episode occurred during the friendly clash between the Brazilian and Panama teams in Rio de Janeiro. Shortly after player Vinicius Jr., 25, Virginia's ex-boyfriend, scored a goal, the businesswoman heard boos saying "Hey, Virginia, take it in the ass".
"I understand what I did wrong and I'm not going to make that mistake again, really. Virginia, forgive me, from the bottom of my heart. Just don't attack my daughters, please. That's all I ask of you. Besides, I understand. I'm very wrong. I ask for forgiveness from all women. All of them. I will never make that mistake again", he concluded.
One day after the event, the influencer published an extensive reflection on social media and received support from Vini Jr., who asked the public to have respect for his ex and support her winning the sixth championship together.
"We had a very beautiful relationship and I would like you to support it, because everything is fine between us. Respect and affection continue! Let's go together for Hexa!!", declared the attacker in a post on Instagram.
