Maiara's team issues a note of rejection after criticism of the singer's appearance

The team of singers Maiara, 38, and Maraisa, 38, shared on social media this Friday (5) a note of repudiation after a video of the singer went viral and generated criticism of the appearance of the first voice.

"It is necessary to clarify that Maiara is in full health and integrity. She is up to date with her professional commitments and her personal life is running smoothly and healthily. The videos and circulating content use decontextualized cuts and biased edits, deliberately aimed at creating a false narrative that the artist is ill or incapacitated", says the note.

According to the text, legal measures will be taken against people who criticized Maiara, alleging that the messages constitute defamation and moral damage and could harm the career of the singer and her duo with her twin sister.

"Appropriate legal measures are being analyzed, aiming not only at reparation, but also at liability for the damage caused. We inform you that legal proceedings have already been initiated against those responsible for these publications. RESPECT IS NINEGOTIABLE", the text quotes.
