Magnitude 5.0 earthquake hits Sichuan, China, agency says

An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 hit the Chinese province of Sichuan this Tuesday (7), reported the GFZ (German Geoscience Research Center).

The tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, the agency said.
