Madonna performs surprise show in NY and presents hits from new album
Singer Madonna, 67, gave a surprise performance in the middle of Times Square, in New York, last Thursday (4).
The artist took advantage of the space's visibility to promote two songs from her new project, the album "Confessions II", which will be available on July 3rd.
Madonna sang the already released "Bring Your Love", a partnership with singer Sabrina Carpenter, as well as the new "Love Sensation". To complement the 15-minute presentation, she performed the 2005 hits "Hung Up" and "Get Together", from the album "Confessions on a Dance Floor".
From the new project, the American had already released "Feel So Free", defined as the first single from the album.
On social media, fans were in an uproar over the artist's energetic performance.
"She didn't come to play. The Queen of Pop closed Times Square," wrote a fan. "A historic moment in Times Square. At 67 years old, Madonna proved once again that she is still the Queen of Pop, taking a crowd to the heart of New York in the middle of Pride Month", added another internet user.
