Lula's position on PCC and CV as terrorists in the USA should reinforce economic impact and risk to PIX

The Palácio do Planalto is finalizing an official note that will be released this Friday (29) in reaction to the United States' announcement of equating the criminal factions Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (CV) with terrorists.
The text will reinforce the damage that the measure could bring to the country's economy, including PIX, an instant payment system created by the Central Bank (understand below).
The central point of the government's position will be to reinforce that the partnership with the USA in combating organized crime remains strong, as well as other partnerships to combat factions.
According to government interlocutors interviewed by the blog, Lula does not want a confrontation with Donald Trump's administration.
US decision on factions could impact the market
In the electoral arena, the strategy will be to reinforce not only possible losses for the financial sector that could occur from the measure, but even a threat to PIX - which is already a target of the Trump administration.
The Americans' accusation is that the payment method can facilitate the use of resources by criminal organizations.
In practice, the mention of PIX communicates directly with the population, since the payment method is the favorite of Brazilians.
By citing risks to the PIX, the government also places responsibility on the opposition, more especially on presidential pre-candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), for the new measure coming from the United States Department of State, where the senator was received on Wednesday (27).
Lula spoke in the last few hours with several assistants on the topic. In addition to Chancellor Mauro Vieira, he discussed the matter with international advisor Celso Amorim and ministers Wellington César Lima e Silva (Justice) and Dario Durigan (Finance).
