Lula publishes MP with R$30 billion in credit to finance app drivers
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva issued provisional measure 1,362 that opens extraordinary credit - outside the fiscal targets - of R$30 billion to finance the financing program for taxi drivers and app drivers.
The text was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU). Launched on the 19th, Move Brasil is aimed at credit for the acquisition of new sustainable vehicles by professionals in the paid private individual passenger transport, taxi drivers and taxi cooperatives.
The program authorizes the use of up to R$30 billion in resources for reimbursable financing operations aimed at renewing the individual passenger transport fleet, observing environmental, social and economic sustainability criteria.

Financing will be granted exclusively indirectly, through financial institutions authorized by BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development), responsible for fully assuming the credit risk of operations.
