Lula declares support for João Campos in the dispute for the government of Pernambuco

O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) declarou nesta segunda-feira (15) que apoiará João Campos (PSB), ex-prefeito do Recife, como pré-candidato ao governo de Pernambuco.

Raquel Lyra (PSD), current governor of the state, was competing for PT support in the October elections.
