Luiz Eduardo scores for the first time and joins the list of Corinthians U20 top scorers in 2026

Corinthians achieved another victory in the Campeonato Paulista U20 by beating Sertãozinho 1 x 0, this Sunday morning (5), at Fazendinha, in the fifth round of the group stage of the competition. The goal that guaranteed the three points was scored by Luiz Eduardo, from a penalty kick, in the final stretch of the match.

In addition to securing the victory and placing Timão in second place in Group 1, the goal also had a special meaning for the striker. Luiz Eduardo scored for the first time this season and joined the black and white team's top scorers list in 2026.

Corinthians U20's top scorer this year continues to be Luiz Fernando. The striker has scored 12 goals in 26 matches and easily leads the category's artillery.

In second place are Luiz Gustavo Bahia and Iago Machado, both with four goals scored. Bahia reached the milestone in 18 games, while Iago needed 20 games.

Following behind is Luiz Fábio, aka Favela, who scored three times in 25 appearances for the Corinthians Under-20s this season.

With two goals appear Yago Melo, Lorenzo and Joãozinho. The trio is also among the main offensive names of the team led in the state competition and in other competitions in the category.

Already with a goal scored are Luiz Eduardo, Nicolas Araújo, Levy Dias, Guilherme Pellegrin, Cauã Ribeiro, Gui Amorim, Gustavo Corrêa, Christian, Nicollas and Guilherme Pires.

The artillery update comes at an important time for Corinthians U20. With the triumph against Sertãozinho, the team reached second place in Group 1 of the Campeonato Paulista and continues to compete for the top positions in the group, maintaining a good campaign in the state competition.
