Luana Piovani criticizes Tiago Leifert after he defended Virginia: "Imbecile"

Actress Luana Piovani, 49, criticized Tiago Leifert, 46, after the presenter defended influencer Virginia, 27, from criticism on social media for covering the World Cup on TV Globo.

According to Leifert, Virginia covering the event for Domingão with Huck is not a reason for criticism, as the program is entertainment and not a newspaper.

"She will do entertainment, frufru, cooking and the surroundings of the stadium. She is a special reporter for Domingão with Huck, like Father Fábio de Melo once was, no one ever said anything", said the presenter.

"With women, he's very macho, right? [...] Macho on the air, no one speaks. Now they say that an adult woman can't put together two sentences and silence. Then machismo no longer exists. Very macho with women", he added.

After Leifert's speech, Luana Piovani spoke out on social media and called the presenter an "imbecile". "This guy is a total idiot. Has he vacated yet? I thought he was still busy. Give him a cat," he wrote in his Instagram stories.
